Lovely Ladies-

I will be unable to attend this week. I am working on a song, and I would love to share the lyrics I have so far:

I'd like to add at least one more verse, something that fits the fingertips/toes connection and is different from the other two.... I think I had one while I was driving, but I didn't write it down when I got home :P
I am still working on chords/an accompanying rhythm. This song is kind of jerk-y/uses pauses in unexpected places (maybe?), I was inspired by Regina Spektor/Kate Nash for the melody. I feel like I might be a little too close to a Kate Nash song (Foundations), so I'll ask for your opinions on that.

    I really like the line about how frostbite hurts when you're warming up.

    I can't wait to hear the melody that goes along with the lyrics. Is it for guitar or keyboard?

    I'm extra excited for next week's meeting!

    Wooo! I haven't figured out if I want keyboard or guitar yet. I sort of want some glockenspiel or xylophone in there, and I'd like to hear it with some drums. Music circle next week anyone??

    Thanks to Lisa and Kayla who helped me by playing some glock and drums on the song! I will definitely be working on the instrumentals a little bit more, and really enjoyed yesterday's fabulous singing and laughing.
